Come join us for the return of the Castro Merchants Signature Event Series with a Spring Block Party that will be full of community spirit. Featuring a joyful afternoon of music, performances, community fun, and springtime magic right in the heart of the neighborhood, the Spring Block Party is a free, family-friendly event celebrating all things colorful, creative, and of course, the Castro!

PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS

1PM–2PM: Drag Story Hour
Presented in partnership with a local nonprofit, featuring fabulous drag artists reading stories that spark imagination and inclusivity.

2PM–3PM: Magic Show & Balloon Twisting with Mr. SHAP
A whimsical hour of wonder and laughs for kids and grown-ups alike.

3PM–4PM: Flower Power Costume Contest
Hosted by the legendary Sister Roma
Funky, floral, or full-blown freaky – dress your best to impress!
