 Joint hearing of the Historic Preservation Commission and Planning Commission determining Certificate of Appropriateness for the Castro Theatre – APE’s requests for interior renovations including flattening the sloped floor and removing the fixed theatrical seating, in addition to adding bars upstairs and downstairs in the venue

• Request: has been made that the HPC/Planning joint meeting be rescheduled until the BOS has made their final determination on the pending Landmark Designation Ordinance and the time period has passed for it be adopted into law.

o   Castro Cultural District has submitted letter to HPC and Planning 

Communications to the San Francisco Historic Preservation and SF Planning Commissioners up until the morning of the hearing via the Secretary of the Commission at commissions.secretary@sfgov.org
