CANDIDATES FOR OFFICERS AND AT-LARGE BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2026:

Jonathan Moscone, Candidate for President (incumbent)

Born and bred in San Francisco, I have been a member of our neighborhood for 13 years and live on Noe Street with my husband, Darryl and our cat, Turtle and dog, Lucy. You’ll often see me gardening on my block, and I love when fellow neighbors show their care of our Triangle. Professionally, I am a theater director and producer, as well as an arts consultant and advocate.

Over the last year as DTNA’s board President, I have endeavored to create a culture of mutual respect, open dialogue and transparency on the board, at neighborhood meetings, and in our relationships with the City. I have also spent the year learning about the diverse needs and aspirations of our neighborhood. If re-elected, I will continue to listen, learn and do what I can to support residents and workers in the Triangle.

Mitchell Woodrow, Candidate for Vice-President (appointed 2025)

I'm running for Board Member and Vice President because Duboce Triangle isn't just where I live - it's my home. This is where my husband and I are building our life, where we'd like to grow our family, and where I'm investing in lifelong friendships with neighbors. I know that deep personal investment is shared by so many of us, and it's what makes this neighborhood truly special. We're perfectly positioned between the eclectic shops and cafes of Lower Haight and the vibrant energy of the Castro, yet we remain a peaceful, tree-lined neighborhood where families stroll through Duboce Park, where neighbors know each other by name, and where San Franciscans have built their homes and lives.

As a recently appointed board member, I am relatively new compared to many on the board, I would promise to honor what makes this place special while creating visible, tangible improvements everyone can enjoy - more vibrant, beautiful, and safer streets, more opportunities for neighbors to become friends, and extending a welcoming hand to those who don't yet realize they too can call this place home.

With background in marketing and communications, I will continue the work I have done as a board member to advocate for more opportunities to bring us together and expand our outreach so DTNA's work truly benefits our entire neighborhood.

David Troup, Candidate for Secretary (incumbent)

David has lived on 15th Street since 2001 and has been on DTNA’s Board for most of the ensuing years, serving in nearly every role.  He believes that a healthy neighborhood association works to educate neighbors and drive civic engagement for the betterment of the neighborhood.  He believes that it’s necessary to work closely with City departments to build and maintain the kind of neighborhood we want to have.

David wants to see the neighborhood grow and add more housing without losing its character or sacrificing the qualities that make Duboce Triangle such a great place to live.  Only by staying involved will we ensure that future generations will still be able to call our neighborhood the best in the city.  DTNA's board should be collegial and our work should focus on the many areas in which there is consensus, rather than wasting time on divisive issues.  We should educate neighbors on issues of concern and encourage engagement.

Paige Rausser Grey, Candidate for Treasurer (incumbent)

As a Duboce Triangle neighbor since 2008, and San Francisco resident (off and on) since 1984 – I’ve seen lots of changes in our beloved city. Working together I know we can continue to enhance the neighborhood that we all love. I became DTNA treasurer in 2025 and spent this last year organizing our finances and with fellow board members have brought in additional funding for beautification projects we plan to implement in 2026.

Along with Erik, I help run our Beautification initiative. We look forward to working with our great committee to create beautiful community-oriented spaces in our Triangle slice of the city. I also hope we continue to build out our membership base (which is a reflection of the vibrant community we call home).

Erik Honda, Candidate for Editor (incumbent)

Hello neighbors! I have lived with my family and housemates on Henry Street since 1992. My wife Esther and I retired this year after 34 years as public school teachers, and so I have even more time for DTNA! I have served as Vice President and Board Secretary, and I am currently the editor of the DTNA News, where I have worked to cultivate young and diverse voices on our reporting and editorial staff. I am also the co chair of the Beautification Team, which recently won a $10,000 grant from Avenue Greenlight.

I am committed to holding our public servants accountable by insisting that they be responsive to constituent concerns. My current focuses include improving the equity and greenery of our neighborhood by pushing for more affordable housing, celebrating our public schools, filling our streets with trees, and via Vision 2030 creating a model neighborhood focused on walkability and transit.

Michael John Alves, Candidate for Member-At-Large (new)

I am running for the Duboce Triangle Neighborhood Association board to continue to evolve the neighborhood's legacy of community, empowerment, wellbeing, and safety for us all.

I live on the Wiggle, at the intersection of Waller and Steiner, with my partner Alejandra and cat, Chicken Nugget. My first introduction to DTNA was as a volunteer for WiggleFest. Thanks to the support of our neighborhood and the mentorship of Doug Thorogood, I have become a lead organizer of WiggleFest and Wiggle Plaza.

When I am not enjoying a good book and a latte in Duboce Park, I work as a consultant on transportation technology and planning projects. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Master's in Urban Planning and obtained a certificate in Transportation and Land Use planning. I look forward to applying my experience and expertise in transportation, mobility, and accessibility to my role as a board member.

Kimyn Braithwaite, Candidate for Member-At-Large (incumbent)

I love our neighborhood and have had so many rewarding experiences interacting with everyone through the last 10 years that I have been involved with DTNA. In 2025, I hope to continue creating community through active social engagements and activities.

Jeffrey Dumlao, Candidate for Member-At-Large (new)

I am honored to submit my candidacy for the 2026 DTNA Board. As the owner of Chartreuse by Roje—a Castro-based lifestyle floral boutique dedicated to cultivating beauty, creativity, and community—and as Co-Chair of the Castro Art Walk, I am deeply committed to fostering inclusive, welcoming spaces that bring people together. DTNA’s mission to protect and enhance the quality of life for all who live, work, or play in Duboce Triangle resonates strongly with my own values of respect, mutual support, and open dialogue.

I am eager to help bridge the vibrant creative community of the Castro with the diverse residents and businesses of Duboce Triangle, strengthening connections across neighborhoods. I would be honored to serve in this one-year term and support the full breadth of our neighborhood’s needs and voices.

Amy Hockman, Candidate for Member-At-Larger (new)

I am interested in serving on the DTNA Board to serve my community and to connect more deeply.  I have lived in the Duboce Triangle for 25 years – on both Walter Street and Carmelita Street.   I have enjoyed this neighborhood both as a single person and as a mom with a husband and two kids who have both grown up here.  Over the years, I have delivered the DTNA newsletter, participated in tree planting and park clean-ups.

My skills that I can contribute are related to banking, digital product management and project management.  I currently work at Patelco Credit Union.  Mostly, I am eager to participate in delivering on DTNA’s mission – to improve the quality of life for all … by fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.  I hope to have the opportunity to get to know you and serve you well.

Thomas Hubbard, Candidate for Member-At-Large (new)

I’ve lived in the Duboce Triangle since 2009, first as a renter and now as a homeowner on Duboce Park. What keeps me here isn’t a single issue - it’s the fabric of San Francisco at the neighborhood level. This community holds a wide range of views yet still shows up for one another, a kind of big-tent cooperation that feels at home here.

My roots are in the Missouri Ozarks, where people say you can disagree without being disagreeable, and I carry that ethic with me. As Chapell Roan reminds us, we’re all just doing our best, and that spirit guides how I hope to serve.

I want to help protect what makes this place distinct - its history, its culture, its park - while working constructively with the City on whatever challenges come next. Decorating the little tree on the Duboce sidewalk has connected me to so many neighbors. I’d be honored to continue that spirit with the DTNA.

Eric Munsing, Candidate for Member-At-Large (incumbent)

When I moved to SF in 2010 I fell in love with the tree-lined streets, central location, and architecture of Duboce Triangle. After moving to Duboce Triangle in 2022, I joined the DTNA in 2023 and became a Board Member in 2024. I manage advertising for the DTNA Newsletter, act as a liaison to the Castro Merchants' Association, and am co-chair of the Land Use Committee. If re-elected, I will continue in my current roles, and strive to ensure that DTNA is a fair and inclusive forum where all residents can ensure that their concerns are heard by the city government.

I'm an avid cyclist and runner, and coordinate volunteer trash cleanups around the city. I live on 16th between Market and Castro.

Dennis Richards, Candidate for Member-At-Large (incumbent)

I am passionate about our neighborhood! As I’ve travelled around the world, I’ve never visited a place quite like Duboce Triangle and the surrounding neighborhoods and I would be honored to serve on the DTNA Board again in 2026.

I have volunteered and been involved in the neighborhood for 20 years, serving on the DTNA Board and being president for many years of the past 20 years.

My focus these past 2 years as a DTNA Board member have been around planning and zoning as the neighborhood will be upzoned in the next 60 days. In that area, I have emphasized good urban design and historic preservation in Duboce Triangle’s position to the city.

In the coming year after the rezoning has become law, I look forward to focusing on other neighborhood issues to enhance Duboce Triangle’s reputation as one of the most livable neighborhoods in San Francisco.
