The purpose of this committee is to advise on transportation issues and strategies that impact our neighborhood. We work within the neighborhood and city agencies to assess policies and their impacts. Issues like pedestrian safety, parking, new development, bike transit and public transportation affect our quality of life and the character of our neighborhood.
We hope you will join us in our goals and help us take the next steps toward creating a more transit-rich corridor. Please sign up to join in and make a difference to address the issue of pedestrian safety as we launch a new project this fall.
DTNA’s Transportation Committee Co-Chairs are Pat Tura and Peter Cohen.
Adopt-a-Corner
Adapt-a-Corner is a community-based project, which brings neighbors together in teams to assess specific intersections and streetscape. The overall goal is to improve safety and quality of life as we travel in the neighborhood. We are in the process of developing the model for the study and invite you to join our efforts.
Complete the form below. You will be contacted with more information and to request your assistance in assessing an intersection near you. For questions or more information, email adoptacorner (at) dtna.org.
