Police Blotter-from the Park Police Station
Feb. 8. 100 block of Beaver Street Officers responded to
a call of someone rummaging through a residential garage
bin, perhaps for personal effects to be used for identity theft.
The suspect had a long criminal record and was on parole,
but due to a lack of evidence of a crime, the suspect was
advised to stay out of other people's trash and leave the
premises.
Feb. 11, 800 block of 14th Street Victim was unloading
groceries in front of his house when two people approached
him. One placed a sharp object to his leg and the other demanded
the victim's keys. The victim gave them the keys
and ran inside his house. The suspects removed his briefcase
from the car. Inside the case was a computer, cash and
various other items.
