Secretary's Report
Actions of the DTNA Board
Regular meeting, Jan. 10, 2005
- Peter Albert, outgoing president, was recognized by
Supervisor Bevan Dufty (District 8) for exceptional
service to the Duboce Triangle community and to the
city of San Francisco.
- Treasurer Mark Banta officially rectified the actions of
the DTNA board for 2004.
- Nominations for a new board of directors and officers were held.
- Gregg Wilcox was nominated for president
- Edd Dundas was nominated to continue as secretary
- David Troup was nominated for treasurer
- Rodd Aubrey was nominated for newsletter editor
- Tim Weeg was nominated to continue as newsletter distributor .
- Ben Gardiner was nominated to continue as Webmaster
At-large directors nominated were: Peter Cohen, Mark
Scheuer, Dennis Richards, Eric Dupre, Derek Durst and
Nelson Mitchell. One board and the office of vice president
remain unfilled.
- A vote was then taken and all nominees were elected to hold offices.
- Discussions about a specific off-leash dog area within
Duboce Park are ongoing. (See newsletter article.)
This will be on the agenda at the next DTNA public
meeting on March 14.
- Peter Albert moved to pay $175 to Queernet for the
use of its services for DTNA's Web site. The motion
was seconded and unanimously approved.
