Actions of the DTNA Board

Regular meeting, Jan. 10, 2005

  1. Peter Albert, outgoing president, was recognized by Supervisor Bevan Dufty (District 8) for exceptional service to the Duboce Triangle community and to the city of San Francisco.
  2. Treasurer Mark Banta officially rectified the actions of the DTNA board for 2004.
  3. Nominations for a new board of directors and officers were held.
    • Gregg Wilcox was nominated for president
    • Edd Dundas was nominated to continue as secretary
    • David Troup was nominated for treasurer
    • Rodd Aubrey was nominated for newsletter editor
    • Tim Weeg was nominated to continue as newsletter distributor .
    • Ben Gardiner was nominated to continue as Webmaster
    At-large directors nominated were: Peter Cohen, Mark Scheuer, Dennis Richards, Eric Dupre, Derek Durst and Nelson Mitchell. One board and the office of vice president remain unfilled.
  4. A vote was then taken and all nominees were elected to hold offices.
  5. Discussions about a specific off-leash dog area within Duboce Park are ongoing. (See newsletter article.) This will be on the agenda at the next DTNA public meeting on March 14.
  6. Peter Albert moved to pay $175 to Queernet for the use of its services for DTNA's Web site. The motion was seconded and unanimously approved.
