By Peter Albert, DTNA President
I am embarrassed to admit I don't know how I stand as a dues-paying member of DTNA, and figured that a lot of people must be in the same boat. Getting you this newsletter; getting the Mayor, the Supervisor and the Planning Department to notice us; making headway on the quali- ty of life in the Triangle: these are all cer- tainly worth the $15 cost of membership.
The job of Treasurer is already complicated enough, and Mark Banta does it very well - - all volunteer, no complaints. To make Mark's job easier, we are going to ask all our membership to pay dues once a year, on January 1st.
That's an easy enough day to remember, and it would save the DTNA postage money, and save Mark valuable time.
